About this Hybrid Strain
When I think of Slurpee, it brings me back to my childhood. Perhaps that same thought process happened to the creators of Slurpee over at Sour Genetics, when they first created this strain. Slurpee is a cross of Miracle Alien Cookies (MAC) and Purple Punch.
The Slurpee buds are oval shaped and made of twisted, dark purple and fern-green leaves, with long orange pistils sparsely scattered about. Fuzzy braids of amber trichome hairs cover and outline the buds, making the buds look mostly purple and gold.
Slurpee has a strong berry odor, complemented with hints of citrus and pine. Combusting Slurpee accents the sour berry and citrus flavor.
The euphoric haze is reportedly relaxing, with most users experiencing decreases in chronic pain and anxiety. Some users found themselves stuck to the couch, while others felt energized preferring to engage in an activity or exercise. The dominant terpenes, Limonene and Beta-Myrcene are believed to have an energizing effect on the mind as well as a sedative effect on the body.
